I can’t believe it — it’s over. Not only is this personal project over, but so is my Photo III project, which was a semester-long project. I had a different plan for this image so maybe I’ll attempt it tonight.
But I would like to take this time to thank you, the support system I’ve relied on that’s kept me going. I can’t tell you how many times I wanted to give up on this project and it would just so happen that a friend of mine would ask what my plan was for today and they wouldn’t let me give up. This has been a crazy year and this project ended up being a fantastic coping mechanism. I know more about my camera and photographic techniques. I’m proud of what I’ve produced. This body of work has been featured in Hingham, Boston, and here in Amherst. I can’t believe it. I never thought I’d get to this point.
And it’s not the end. There’s so much more in the future. This is merely the beginning, to show that I could commit to a personal project. And I did.
Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for encouraging me. Thank you for modeling if you did and if you sent me a message that you wanted to and I apologize for not getting to you. Thank you for following me and sharing my photos and letting me express myself in a safe space. I don’t know how else to express my gratitude.
